My chosen name is Ria. That’s just how I roll.
I’m lesbian. Surprised? I hope not. I definitely am a fighter for Gay Rights so if you are on the opposing team, we probably won’t make the best of friends. It will most definitely show up in my posts. Almost every entry will have some sort of lesbian/gay supportive quality to it.
My favourite colour is Yellow. I love Gerber Daisies and Crepe Myrtles. I enjoy the French language muchly. J’aime mes amis beaucoup.
I like to think I’m a fairly simple person on the surface. I like to have a good time and I’m a happy person. I’m a social and outgoing person who loves to be surrounding by other people. 
Of course, I wasn’t always such a happy vibrant person. And it isn’t always a solid thing for me. I have a (currently undefined) mood disorder and a past of cutting. I haven’t cut in what will be 7 months on December 1oth but to be sure, it isn’t as if I don’t have that silent but deadly desire to do it again. So far, I’ve succeeded at resisting but I can’t feel too accomplished just yet. The longest I’ve gone without cutting was 1 year and 3 months – when I get past that, I will definitely feel more accomplished in this endevour.
I can be sexual. I don’t find that to be a bad thing. People shouldn’t be so afraid of something that’s apart of our psychological and physiological makeup; sex and sexual drive, whether it’s a lack thereof or an extreme desire for it, it apart of us. People who are extremely uncomfortable with discussing sex frustrate me but also become a target of my extreme personality.
I tend to be drawn to people who are either on the same extreme level as I am personality wise, or people who are shy and withdrawn. Those who are withdrawn draw my notice and I attach myself to them; it’s almost a challenge to me, to get them to open up to me, to be more social.
I’m considerably intelligent, but I’m also the life of the party. I love to let loose and have fun whenever I get the chance. I don’t always act the smartest but that’s my impulsivity for you.
My desired career choices are mixed between: English/Creative Writing teacher [high school level], Author, and Photographer. Right now, photographer has the top spot in the order.
